This is a piece inspired by grapefruit. My design so far are themed around travel. I had to sell over 50 boxes of grapefruit to friends and family when I was 16 to pay for
Amigos de las Americas. My earnings sent me to Paraguay for 8 weeks and it was one of the best experiences of my life!
I love the way the pieces change so dramatically as you add more tiles. It can take on a completely different personality.
I had a lot of left over tiles from this last project so I decided to make something small and simple. No fun reason why I chose a fish but I had the orange and underwater has always been a favorite doodle theme of mine.
