My mom picked out several colors of glass for me to make a piece for her house. I had free creative license to design what I wanted using the colors. This was a photo I took of a tree not far from the house. I changed the road to a green yard of sorts and I am happy how it came out. I can't wait to see it grouted! I have decided to use nutmeg.
The glass pieces I was using had a marbleized pattern to it. I thought it was fun to play around with the different shades of the glass even though it came from the same piece. It created interesting highlights on the leaves.
